Born on June 24th, 1959 in Paris,  Mireille Zahia, Soufflet, autodidact, begins painting very young and accomplish the first exhibitions since 1974: an imaginary world imprints of magic and poetry.

Installed in Perpignan, it puts herself into the world of the miniature then undertakes seven years of architecture. Zahia since the return in Roussillon, south of France in 1997 accomplish exhibitions of painting on the thems of " Mon Orient ", "Cosmos", "Feminity".

By her recent creation of ceramics she assures the survival of an art millennium, while her unics creation of jewellery and mirrors transcends its womanhood.
